Examiner
Just found out that I am going to become the commuting “Examiner” for Seattle. It’s a pretty sweet gig and maybe I’ll be able to bring some focus onto issues that aren’t getting talked about. Sweet!

Interbike and Embrocation
I’ve been reading a lot of glossies this week. I keep coming back to Embrocation Cycling Journal for their coverage of all things glorious in cycling. Jeremy Dunn from P-Town had the best article explaining how Interbike treats all of us. Scotty and I had plans to cover the show in some amazing manner but for the most part we failed miserably. My little camera never gave me great shots, the...
What a difference a mind makes
Jay Townley might be a genius but Scotty thought about most of this already. He just described uBRDO to perfection.

What's Goin' On
I just posted this for Osprey. It’s all true and going to be a long couple of weeks.
Long weeks and even longer weekends; that’s how it’s going to be for the near future as I race and travel. Last week was the start of a super crazy month that had me all over Seattle and down to Oregon for work/fun/suffering. My bike sponsor, Baron Bicycles, was invited to participate in the Rapha...

RGR
Results are up for the Rapha Gentleman’s Race and the Baron Bicycles Team ended up in 18th. We started fifth from last and finished there. Congrats to the guys that won the race because we know that they suffered mightily to stay in front. The fastest team HPC came by like a freight train at mile twenty and I doubt they were going much slower at mile 130. We tagged along with them until...
@iMiNUSD gave us a great shout out for the build. Hopefully we’ll get a chance to go see everyone down in the Bay Area sometime soon to shoot the shit. Damn s words. Sweet!
Reviews!
…are the hardest things to write. There are so many reasons why you may or may not like something and deciding which one of those reasons make or breaks something sucks. I have a few in the works for: PRO, Ultegra 6700, Edge Rims, Baron Frames, Hammer Race Day Caps, and a couple others.
uBRDO is really starting to move into cross season and Scott and I are thinking about ways to make sure...

I love the internets! This movie also brought me back to when I owned a Hoffman Bro’s ramp bike that weighed thirty pounds. I still don;t know why I bought it. I was horrible at tricks. Maybe it came from seeing one too many of the awesome BMX vids that came out of the eighties. There is way more on woozybmx.com.

Pivot Cycles at St Ed's
Summer is definitely coming on strong in Seattle and so are the demos! This week we started our test ride season out with Victor and Jason from Pivot. For those of you in the know you will have heard that this company is the brain child of Chris Cocalis the long time owner and manager at Titus Cycles. His designs have long been among the best in the full suspension world and have mostly featured...

uBRDO Sweetness
Yea!! Amanda’s Lynskey Pro Cross rolled in ten minutes ago accompanied by some White Industries Pedals. Two things that I really have a hankering to own!
I rode to Portland this weekend and had a good ol’ time hanging with my sister and her crowd of merry pranksters. I got to see some things that got the gears turning so stay tuned in!

Working with Baron
We’ve been working with Geoff at Baron this past month on his new cross bike. It is still in the super secret development mode but without any unforeseen delays in production he hopes to have one to us with the new cross geometry by the middle of July. Here is the Beta bike that he designed after a collar bone break last fall; that means its a little whacky and far from the usual Baron...

Lots and lots...
of things have been going. uBRDO is everywhere right now. We have been back and forth across the state and supported no less than three events over the past week. I think if I can slow down for a minute I can get some reviews and reports pushed up to tumblr and maybe even write a blog for Osprey. After a 24 hr race and little sleep over the past couple of days nothing is all that coherent.

I took my new Rapha jacket out for a test ride in the Snoqualmie Valley yesterday and was blown away by its fit and feel. Sixty miles in 3:25 felt pretty good!
